Excitement is building for the ‘Open Heart’ concert, presented by the Catholic Education Office Sydney, welcoming back Steve Angrisano for a special performance for students in Years 10 and 11 at St Patrick’s College Sutherland on Friday 22 May 5:30pm – 9:00pm.
Steve Angrisano is regarded by many as one of the most effective and versatile ministry leaders in the Church today. A veteran musician, composer and youth minister who has featured at World Youth Days and many diocesan youth conventions/conferences around the world.
Steve’s easy-going and honest style of ministry underlies who he is: a committed witness to the life and love of Jesus Christ. Those who are young (and young at heart) embrace the passionate message of faith, hope and love woven throughout his music and storytelling.
The theme of the night is ‘Open Heart’, calling students to celebrate life with an open heart. This was chosen to coincide with the Catholic schools theme, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God” (Matthew 5:8), so that students may appreciate service of others in light of their Catholic faith.
