Prayers are requested for Archbishop Anthony Fisher OP, who fell ill shortly before Christmas. The Archbishop has subsequently been diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome, an auto-immune condition that causes the immune system to attack the body’s nerves, causing muscle weakness and possible paralysis.
Archbishop Anthony’s condition is one that will require some time for recovery. Chris Meney, the Chancellor of the Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney, has requested that you remember Archbishop Anthony in your own prayers. His Grace is very grateful for all those prayers which are offered for him at this time, and during his period of recuperation ahead
